If you're in the oil business you will know Tigress as the software behind the world's most integrated reservoir interpretation system, but that's only part of the Tigress story.
For more than 16 years Tigress has been supplying software, services and expertise to some of the best known names in the industry. We were founded in 1989 by Shell, Enterprise Oil, ARCO and the UK Department of Trade and Industry, initially to provide the world's first integrated reservoir interpretation system. Tigress is now a division of Geotrace Inc.
Geotrace has headquarters in Houston, US, and numerous supporting offices around the world. You can find a full list of Geotrace locations on the Geotrace website. In the UK there are two Geotrace offices: the Tigress software division is located in Marlow, 50km west of central London, and Geotrace Technologies Ltd is located in Woking, 40km south-west of the central London.
Our products
Tigress version 1 was released in 1992 and the company celebrated its 15th year with the launch of the fifth all-new version of the Tigress product in 2006. The new product, while barely recognisable from the original, retains the Tigress philosophy of "Integration by Design" and is still the industry's most integrated single-source system.
