Geoleader is a Russian Joint Stock company. It specializes in
software development, software maintenance and software and
hardware support. The company is based in Moscow, Russia, with a
subsidiary in Tyumen (Western Siberia). Geoleader has a team of 60
mathematicians, geologists, geophysicists and computer scientists;
all are experts in using software and in development. It plans to
increase this development team to 120 by the end of 2005.
Geoleader develops software for geophysics and geology, and has
patented packages as GEOTOP (software for well log analysis) and
ISO-LINE (GIS database and geological geophysical interpretation
software). It works with companies such as Tigress Ltd and the
French company CGG, and in Novosibirsk it has been working with
Russian academics to develop new algorithms and software for
purposes such as gridding and neural networks applied to geology
and geophysics.
