Tigress Ltd, in conjunction with Russian partner GeoLeader, has
released GeoTIGG 2.0.
The GeoTIGG product is aimed at those working in the
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). It uses the main
Tigress
applications and the Tigress Project Data Store (PDS) as the underlying
framework. On top of this GeoTIGG delivers additional
interpretative tools including the petrophysical program GeoTOP
and, new in release 2.0, the mapping program GeoQC.
GeoTOP offers a wide range of interpretative petrophysical
functions, and covers a breadth of data similar to the Tigress
petrophysical software. Its particular strength lies in its ability
to handle traditional Russian logs, with their own data types,
corrections and specific interpretation algorithms.
The new GeoQC product is based on the commercial CGG FastQC
program. It offers a wide range of mapping processes and
statistical analysis of the corresponding data, including kriging.
Both GeoTOP and GeoQC read and write their data directly to the
PDS.
The next release of GeoTIGG will include another program popular
in the CIS market, GeoMIG, which is a 3D seismic interpretation
tool. For more information on any of these products please
contact
Tigress or GeoLeader.
