Tigress GeoSciences Ltd is pleased to announce that it has
purchased GeoBrowse™, the leading map-based data integration
software system, from Integrated Solutions Australasia Pty
(ISA).
The acquisition of GeoBrowse is part of Tigress’s strategy to
move further into the exploration and production (E&P) data
management business. The move complements the latest versions of
the company’s signature Tigress database and integrated reservoir
interpretation software suite.
Commenting on the acquisition, Tigress’s managing director David
Sullivan said: “The acquisition of GeoBrowse further enhances
Tigress’s reputation as the supplier of the world’s most integrated
E&P data management software system. We firmly believe that,
together with the Tigress database, the TIES data exchange and
quality control system, and the Tigress interpretation
applications, we have the best tools available in the industry
today.”
ISA’s director of business development Mike Slee welcomed the
transaction, saying that “Tigress has been a major partner of ISA
GeoBrowse for a number of years and the incorporation of GeoBrowse
in the Tigress portfolio is a natural and welcome progression".
