“From Baghdad to banking: E&P data management in the real
world”
David Sullivan, managing director of Tigress Ltd, is to give a
presentation at the forthcoming two-day Petroleum Exploration
Society of Great Britain (PESGB) Data Management 2005 conference on
5 December 2005. This will be held at the Geological Society in
London.
Since introducing the world’s first integrated exploration and
production (E&P) database nearly 15 years ago, Tigress has
participated in practical data management projects in every corner
of the world. In this talk, David Sullivan highlights some of the
current trends in the field. With examples taken from Tigress
projects from Iraq to Siberia, he will argue that in the early
years of the 21st century the integrated E&P database has
finally come of age.
