The Tigress data management product portfolio includes
GeoBrowse, the Project Data Store (PDS), data loading applications and data links. Used together,
they provide a single, integrated data store, applications to
populate and maintain your projects, and data links that ensure
your data can be exchanged with partners and other exploration
and production (E&P) software packages.
Products
GeoBrowse
GeoBrowse is a geographical information system (GIS) for
querying multiple databases. It lets you make rapid visual
comparisons of information stored across disparate databases and
presents the data in a composite map view. It also provides
optional supporting spreadsheet data views and reporting
functionality.
Using GeoBrowse you can query multiple databases simultaneously,
without the need for individual project licences, and you can
combine spatial data from those databases with existing shape and
graphics files. The resultant map displays allow geoscientists and
other professionals to rapidly query a wealth of information spread
across their company’s databases directly from their PC.
The Project Data Store
The Project Data Store (PDS) is an exploration and production
(E&P) logical data model and is at the heart of Tigress's
products. Tigress uses the PDS as its software integration platform
and all input data and interpreted results are stored in the PDS.
The data model is implemented in the Oracle relational database
management system (RDBMS). The combination of a well designed model
and the industry's leading RDBMS ensures a high degree of
availability, integrity and security of data.
The PDS is a project orientated data store that provides
real-time data retrieval and storage for multiple concurrent users
and multiple projects. Data versioning, access controls and audit
trails ensure the continued quality of data stored within a PDS,
and offer multiple layers of data security. The Tigress
applications are fully integrated with the PDS, allowing
interpretation using data from all disciplines to accurately model
the reservoir, without the need for duplication of data sets.
PDS data loaders and data links
Tigress data loading applications allow you to transfer data to
and from the Project Data Store (PDS). Data can be loaded from a
variety of third party databases and file and tape formats using
graphical interfaces and specially developed links. The seamless
exchange of information from the PDS to these third party
applications improves the workflow and enhances the productivity of
E&P asset teams.
Links to additional databases, applications and file formats can
be written using the PDS Developer’s Toolkit, transforming the PDS
into an open integration platform and data distribution hub. We
also offer a variety of links and utilities for integration of our
data products with third party applications and databases.
