software, making sure you make the most of your time and your

With nearly 15 years of experience in training customers in over
50 countries Tigress has a solid reputation for supplying
effective and friendly training, across the full range of
exploration and production skills. We specialise in training on our
software products, and in the wider skills of our business, such as
system administration and data management. Using our partnerships
with leading industry consultancy groups we also offer advanced
training programmes.
For any software system, training and guidance is essential if
you are to get the most from the product. Tigress has always given
a high priority to the training process and has been providing an
extensive training programme throughout our years as a software
specialist. Our aim is to tailor the courses to fit the experience
levels of the students; expanding and developing training themes to
reflect your key interest areas, and those of your company.
Facilities
Tigress has a new,
purpose-built training and project facility in our Marlow
headquarters. This is used for most of our training courses
and is also available for organisations to book for their own
use.
We can also deliver many of our training courses onsite at your
offices, or at any suitable off-site venue, anywhere in the
world.
Standard courses
Tigress training courses are supported by clearly written and
well illustrated training manuals. We believe a 'hands-on' approach
is the most effective way to learn new software, so each section is
designed around work examples that lead you to build upon earlier
experiences. Classes are kept small, typically with a maximum
of six students per class, to ensure plenty of interaction and
one-to-one support from the teaching staff.
Courses vary from simple one-day sessions to detailed training
programs up to one month long. Details of course contents,

Tailored courses
Tigress offers tailored courses which can be designed to meet
your wider training requirements beyond the confines of the
applications portfolio. This may include anything from English
language training to systems management and database technology. We
work with our consultant groups to offer expert tuition in
theoretical and detailed practical aspects of the sciences behind
the applications.
