Two days.
Description
This course is intended for systems and database administrators
who will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and
maintenance of a Tigress installation. Application specialists with
an interest in systems integration and operation may also benefit
from attending.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with either Unix/Linux or relational database system
administration.
Format
Demonstrations, lectures and user exercises using Linux or Unix
operating systems.
Objectives
On completion of the course, trainees will be able to:
- understand general Tigress concepts
- add and maintain additional Tigress users
- create, manage and archive projects
- acquire a basic understanding of Oracle SQL Server
management
- integrate additional peripherals
- manage the Tigress hardcopy system
- carry out basic troubleshooting activities
- start up and administer a Tigress
installation.
